ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF BS&H

 Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities is established with a view to brush up students in human skills like communication skills and improving English Language. This Department comprises English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. The Faculty: under the dynamic and experienced HoD, this department has a Professor and an Associate Professor and nine more Assistant Professors with rich and varied experience. According to JNTU norms, the department has a sophisticated and modern English Language lab with the software of a reputed software company.

 The department of Basic Science & Humanities plays a vital role in grooming the students in their basic knowledge of science and language. This department was established in 2008 with 32 teaching faculty, Today it is expanded to 42, offering courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. The department deals with Mathematics-I, Mathematics-II, Mathematics-III, Mathematics-IV, Probability & Statistics, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, Optimization Techniques, Operations Research, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Studies, English, Business Communication skills and Soft skills training programmes with emphasis on Personality development .
