ABOUT EEE DEPARTMENT

 Harnessing electrical energy is the challenge for electrical engineers. The power packed EEE department inspires the budding Electrical Engineers with the potent idea of constructing Generating Stations, Transmission Lines and Distribution Systems at economic rates and to design, test and supervise the manufacture of Electrical and Electronic equipment’s used in electrical utilities, buildings, automobiles, air-crafts, radar, navigation system and broadcast and communication systems. The Department maintains high quality of teaching and learning process with the help of well qualified faculty members.

 The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2008. The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department offers courses leading to a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering a sanctioned intake of 60 seats. It also offers a Master of Technology in Power Electronics & Electrical Drives with intake of 18 from 2012.Our motto is giving education to rural students.

 The department association named SPARK has conducted various levels of events like inter-college competitions, workshops, national level symposium, Quiz program, etc. The department library has more books including IEEE journals, magazines etc. They are very helpful to facilitate student’s innovative thoughts.

 Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2008 to provide quality education both theoretically and practically. Department has well Qualified, Experienced and Dedicative faculty .They are committed to excellence in teaching and passionate about research & development.

Mission

The primary mission of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is to impart high class education to the students by its three tenets to serve the society:

M1 :  Providing quality education through better facility for both theory and practical knowledge.

M2 :  To be a highly preferred destination comparable with the best in the world for students aspiring to enter the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

M3 :  Empower every individual to develop as a professional with an ability to apply his/herknowledge and skills to adapt to the evolving technological requirements of the society.

The program educational objectives of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering UG course in EEE Department are:

PEO1: Graduates with a solid foundation in engineering, science and technology for a successful career in Electrical Engineering.

PEO2:  Graduates become effective collaborators / innovators, addressing social, technical and engineering challenges.

PEO3: Graduates engage in professional development through ethical values and self-study to become responsible engineers.

On behalf of our students and faculty, it is my privilege to welcome all of you to the Department of Electrical Engineering at siddartha institute of science and technology. We take pride in our faculty, a team of highly capable and dedicated professionals, most of whom have academic and industrial experience and degrees from leading universities of the India. We provide ample opportunities to our faculty and students, through in -house trainings, workshops and trainings outside the college campus for further growth and development in their areas of expertise.



     We at EEE Department are committed with the following objectives:

     The Department has taken up the task of developing competent Electrical engineers of high quality, capable of facing various challenges of the power situation in the country

     To produce graduates who are able to apply the technical skills which they have learnt in the department in order to serve the State and National Industries and PSU’s.

     To produce graduates with the necessary background and scientific skills to work professionally in several fields in particular with IT Industries and Power sectors.

     To train and encourage the graduates for personal and professional success with awareness and commitment to their ethical and social responsibilities, both as individuals and in team environments.

     Prepare and train the graduates who are proficient of maintaining and improving their technical competence through enduring learning, including entering and succeeding in an advanced degree program in a field of Science & Technology

     On the whole, we are committed towards creating and erecting professional graduate community which is vivacious and provides continuous learning. We Encourage students, parents, prospective faculty member to go through the information provided on the website and join us.

     Established Air conditioning Lab with SIEMENS and APSSDC collaboration.

     Established Home Electrical appliances Lab with SIEMENS and APSSDC collaboration.

     Signed MOU with Control Concepts Pvt. Ltd. Chennai for student internship to train on industrial automation

     Establishing R&D in Power Systems and Power Electronic Drives is in progress.

     Gathered attention for testing services to near by industries, Amararaja Batteries, AP Transco and APSPDCL.

     Average 70% of eligible students are placed through campus.

     Prof.K.R.Vadivelu has achieved Doctorate Degree in July 2017

     Dr.K.R.Vadivelu,Published Conference paper at IEEE Digital Explore on Feb.2018

     Submission of Software development project to NIDHI SEED SUPPORT SYSTEM, DST.
