Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

Welcome

Mrs. Dr. G. Nagalakshmi, M.E.,Ph.D
Professor & Head, Department of CSE

The Department of Computer Science Engineering was established in the year 2008. The computer Science Engineering Department offers courses leading to a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering with a sanctioned intake of 60 seats. It also offers a Master of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering with intake of 18 from 2012, Master of Technology in Software Engineeringwith intake of 18 from 2013. Our motto is giving education to rural students. The programme focuses on Computers which have permeated into every sphere of life. The Course enables the students to prosper in analysis, designing, construction and testing of advanced software applications. All the computing resources are inter-connected with high-speed intranet connectivity to the outside world. Our students are exposed to up-to-date curriculum, technology and techniques. The Department has well-experienced and dedicated faculty members with differentspecializations.

The department association named CYBYRUS has been conducting various levels of events like inter-college competitions, workshops, national level symposium, Quiz program, etc. The department library has more books including IEEE journals, magazines etc,. They are very helpful to facilitate studentsinnovativethoughts.

Department of Computer Science Engineering was started in the year 2008 to provide quality education both theoretically and practically. Department has highly qualified, internationally renowned, experienced, committed teaching and supporting staff. Our faculty members and students are involved in various research activities in all areas of Computer Science Engineering. The department is also very active in conducting various conferences, workshops, short term seminars etc.,
